Digital Forensic Investigative Specialist ID-19344

About the position

The Digital Forensics Investigation Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the Cyber Security Operation teams and internal investigative partners. This position involves working closely with these teams to facilitate incident response and conduct both internal and external investigations. The specialist will be responsible for forensic collection and analysis, providing subject matter expertise in the planning and support of cyber investigations, as well as investigations related to internal or external fraud. In this role, the Digital Forensic Investigative Specialist will define, develop, and implement Technology Controls and Information Security-related policies and programs. They will provide specialized expertise and guidance on assessing risks, identifying potential gaps, and offering security solutions to mitigate risks and protect the Bank. The specialist will participate in projects of moderate to high complexity, delivering complex reporting, analysis, and assessments at the functional, business line, or enterprise level for their area of responsibility. The position requires participation in complex, comprehensive, or large projects and initiatives, acting as a lead expert resource in technology controls and information security for project teams, the organization, and outside vendors. The specialist must possess advanced knowledge of organizational technology controls, security, and risk issues, ensuring that the Bank's security posture is robust and effective.

Responsibilities

  • Information security certification/accreditation is an asset.

  • Understanding of digital forensic principles and methodologies.
  • Experience using digital forensic tools such as EnCase, Axiom, and Cellebrite.
  • Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention tools and conducting DLP investigations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret digital evidence for non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of malware triage and reverse engineering.
