We’re growing our in-house marketing team and looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist with a strategic mindset and a passion for storytelling across digital channels. This is a junior-level role in title, but it requires hands-on experience and confidence across a wide range of marketing responsibilities.

About the Role
As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you’ll work directly under the Digital Lead and collaborate with our creative team. Your job will be to develop and manage digital content that drives engagement, brand awareness, and sales across all digital touchpoints. From writing compelling email campaigns to optimizing content for SEO, your work will directly contribute to SalonCity’s digital growth.

What You'll Do

· Social Media: Plan, create, and publish content that aligns with our brand voice and strategy. Help grow our social presence across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest.

· SEO: Optimize product pages, blog content, and on-site assets for organic search visibility using keyword research and SEO best practices.

· PPC Support: Assist in creating ad copy and assets for Meta and Google Ads. Work with the Digital Lead on campaign strategy, targeting, and performance insights.

· Email Marketing: Create promotional and lifecycle email campaigns in Klaviyo.

· Copywriting: Craft engaging, persuasive, and on-brand copy for product pages, campaigns, and promotional content.

· Collaborate with our creative team on campaign execution, visuals, and messaging.

· Bring fresh ideas to team brainstorms and support a test-and-learn environment with data-informed thinking.

What We’re Looking For

· 3–5 years of digital marketing experience

· Experience working in a marketing department (in-house or agency)

· Past experience in a managerial or lead contributor role

· Strategic thinker who can align content to broader ecommerce goals

· Strong knowledge of organic SEO, social media strategy, email marketing, and PPC fundamentals (Meta and Google Ads)

· Confident and creative copywriter with a clear, compelling tone

· Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with designers, leadership, and external vendors

· Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

Bonus Points

· Experience in ecommerce, beauty, or wellness industries

· Hands-on experience with tools like Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta Business Suite, and Google Ads Manager

· Working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
