Position Summary

The Pool Concierge is a full-time, year-round position responsible for creating an exceptional resort experience while maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence of all pool facilities. This role combines traditional pool maintenance duties with high-end hospitality services to ensure memorable guest experiences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Guest Experience

  • Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, offering orientation to pool facilities and amenities
  • Anticipate guest needs by providing personalized service, including :
  • Setting up loungers with fresh towels and pillows
  • Offering complimentary water service and seasonal refreshments
  • Providing swimming accessories (goggles, swim diapers, sunscreen) upon request
  • Assisting guests with special needs or accommodations
  • Monitor pool capacity while maintaining an upscale atmosphere
  • Address guest inquiries about resort activities and facilities
  • Maintain lost and found items with detailed documentation

Safety & Guest Comfort

  • Monitor pool and spa areas to ensure guest safety and comfort
  • Maintain cleanliness of all guest areas
  • Report any maintenance needs to facilities team
  • Guide guests on proper use of facilities and amenities
  • Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service
  • Knowledge of pool operations and safety procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform required duties

  • Ensuring pool area is ready for guests
  • Maintaining linens and replenishing as needed
  • Interacting with guests in a friendly and helpful manner; reporting and intervening when guests are involved in unsafe behavior
  • Observing and correcting safety issues in pool area
  • Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor
  • Qualifications

    This position may be for you if :

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have achieved a high school diploma or GED
  • You have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • You are detail oriented, well organized and work well independently and in a team environment
  • You are able to lift up to 50lbs, push and pull carts, repeatedly stock linens
