WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Senbird Tea is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on part-time Production Associate to support production operations, including product assembly, packaging, and fulfillment. This role is ideal for someone with technical skills, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to problem-solve. The Production Associate will work closely with the Operations team to ensure efficiency, quality, and organization in all aspects of production. This is a part-time, hands-on role suited for individuals with experience or interest in manufacturing, production, and machine operation.

As a Production Associate, you will:

  • Operate and assist with production machinery (training provided) to support product assembly and packaging.
  • Follow safety guidelines and protocols when handling machinery and production tools.
  • Accurately pack goods to meet designated quantity and quality standards and handle packing, delivery, and fulfillment for all D2C and B2B orders across various sales channels.
  • Pack, label, and fulfill orders with accuracy and efficiency to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Perform packaging, shipping, and receiving duties, including safely handling packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Collaborate with your team to achieve production, quality, and safety goals while troubleshooting challenges and proactively problem-solving to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
  • Support in training and mentoring seasonal interns by proactively offering feedback to ensure quality standards and effective workflow.
  • Create and maintain product inventory, ensuring all items meet quality and consistency standards.
  • Assist in monitoring product inventory and office supplies, promptly reporting needs to management, while maintaining an organized and presentable office environment.

  • Interest in Japanese tea and culture is a plus!
