About This Role

The Recruiting Manager will help support our growth at scale. This individual will assist in both administrative and operational capacities within Matchmaker recruiting. You bring expertise, creativity and vision about world class recruiting, so that you can help continue to improve the systems, tools, and processes we use to find, interview, and hire amazing talent

Responsibilities 

  • Assist with increasing our candidate pool for current and future needs by posting opportunities to applicable job boards as well as identifying top talent outside of our recruiting pipeline and inviting them to apply
  • Review and assess interview eligibility of each candidate by reviewing applications, resumes and video interviews against role responsibilities and business objectives
  • Coordinate all interviews in a professional and timely manner, including screening calls, take-home exercises and final interviews; answer candidate FAQs throughout the interview process 
  • Conduct final interviews and assess the quality of each candidate by asking a series of interview questions while displaying our core values
  • Provide a seamless, positive experience with a focus on relationship building  for every candidate, no matter the hiring decision
  • Manage all onboarding processes, including but not limited to processing background checks; sending contracts and employment offers; creating IT systems; completing internal checklists; and setting expectations for each new team member
  • Proactively communicate with various departments to ensure operational efficiency in full-lifecycle of recruiting and onboarding 
  • Assist with the implementation of our diversity, inclusion, and HR initiatives to continue to shape our talent profile 
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned


Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full-lifecycle staffing and/or recruiting experience

  • 1+ years experience building, coaching and managing a remote recruiting team

  • Proven success consistently meeting aggressive goals in a self-directed, high-volume recruiting environment 

  • Hands-on experience with strategic sourcing, comprehensive interview techniques, quality-focused evaluations, and remote onboarding

  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and cloud-based software; Fountain, Google, Calendly, and Zoom preferred 

  • Knowledge of employment classifications with ability to speak to the nuances of W-2 and 1099 work with ease 

  • Exceptional communicator with the ability to quickly build rapport and develop meaningful relationships 

  • Process-oriented with a focus on speed and agility in a rapid-change environment

  • Ability to proactively problem-solve, independently troubleshoot, and thoughtfully respond to concerns from technology to people on the fly
