Responsibilities

  • Manage immediate day of air operations related to all aspects of Air Control activity.
  • Ensure on-air continuity for all network programming daily.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for solutions to potential air loss issues.
  • Provide operational instructions to the Media Distribution Center, Transmission, and Satellite Management Center during interruptions or changes to scheduled programming.
  • Supervise the On-duty Broadcast Control staff.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a network operations capacity.
  • Experience in network origination, routing, and coordination during routine and non-routine special events.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently under tight time constraints and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Excellent detail-oriented communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior scheduling application experience such as IBMS or Wide Orbit.
