Job Responsibilities

  • Review and validate employee profile information in Workday, ensuring accuracy and consistency across key data fields (e.g., job titles, manager assignments, location data).

  • Identify and document discrepancies in Workday data; support HR in executing corrections and generating reports as needed.

  • Assist in maintaining and organizing digital employee records, templates, and documentation in alignment with compliance standards.

  • Provide administrative support across various HR functions.

  • Contribute to ad hoc HR projects, process improvements, and team initiatives as assigned.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 


Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite products.

  • Familiarity with Workday (preferred, but not required)

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.

 


Physical Requirements

This position primarily involves sedentary work, requiring the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and operate a computer and other office equipment including typing, looking at a screen and communicating on MS Teams or phone calls. The role may occasionally involve light lifting (up to 10 lbs). Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

The Human Resources Intern will be in an office environment. The role is in person onsite in Virginia Beach.
