Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • MUST be an RN
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, business administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Certification in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM), or other relevant certifications preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in quality management, risk management, or compliance in a healthcare setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements (e.g., CMS, The Joint Commission).
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with risk management or quality improvement software is a plus.

Job Summary:
The Quality, Risk, and Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing and assisting in the management of the quality assurance, risk management, and compliance programs within Rock Regional Hospital. This role ensures that the hospital adheres to all regulatory standards, industry best practices, and internal policies, thereby promoting high-quality patient care, safety, and operational efficiency. The manager will proactively identify and mitigate risks, implement quality improvement initiatives, and ensure full compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation requirements.
