Role Description

The VP, US Vaccines Accounts Management Lead is responsible for leading a team of approximately 100 colleagues including Vaccines Account Directors (VADs), Vaccines Account Managers (VAMs), Senior Director, National & Specialty Accounts, National Account Directors (NADs), and an Account Enablement Director.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of pharmaceutical experience inclusive of supervising leaders-of-leaders and managing customer-facing functions.
  • Buy & Bill, Vaccines, and/or Account Management experience strongly preferred.
  • Strategy/marketing experience highly desired as is product launch experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence thought leaders and high-level decision makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with Pfizer senior leaders to provide marketing and performance updates.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and motivate others and lead through change.
  • Deep knowledge of the healthcare industry and the ability to teach and hold others accountable.
  • Demonstrated prioritization, problem-solving, facilitation, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated negotiating and contracting experience.
  • Strong ability to leverage data and insights to optimize decision making.
  • Experience with selling to state and/or federal government preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA (or advanced degree) preferred.

  • Leads a national team to deliver targeted business outcomes for Pfizer vaccine products.
  • Ensures the development of robust business plans to maximize performance.
  • Leads the execution of contracting strategy with targeted customers.
  • Effectively manages the performance and development of the Vaccines Account Management organization.
  • Conducts account plan review, customer visits, and business reviews.
  • Leads and manages projects across functional teams.
  • Effectively manages all employee relations' issues with support from Human Resources.
